About me
I live in Sofia, Bulgaria, and study at Sofia High School of Mathematics with profiled subjects: Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, and English. Since second grade, I have engaged with mathematics through national and international competitions, lectures at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and lectures prepared by myself.
Since May 2021, I have been volunteering as a Project Manager for the grass-roots initiative The Young Scientist Project.
In my free time, I train basketball, draw pictures, climb mountains and go skiing.
I have participated in and achieved awards from many national and international mathematical competitions. I have attended lectures led by math professors in the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Bulgarian Academy of Science. My experience with mathematics led me to the opportunity to give lectures on complex numbers in geometry myself.
Chemistry
I study Chemistry as a profiled subject. Since 2018 I have attended the school Olympiad-level course in Chemistry. I participated in the National Chemistry Olympiad four times and had the honor to be qualified for its second round. I love how this subject connects abstract theory with tangible reality and puts other sciences such as mathematics into practice.

Computer Science
I have been keen on Computer Science since 5th grade. I have studied Java, C++, Python, and HTML. I am currently learning SQL as part of my Computer Science profiled program. I have created several individual projects such as this website and have led a number of team ones. During the summer of 2021, I was an intern at the software development company Dbind Ltd.
Civic engagement
From May 2021 to March 2022, my mentor Luis Lomeli, ten of my classmates, and I designed, implemented, and ran a community project on a national level called The Young Scientist Project, fully funded by the USA Embassy – Sofia. It aims to inspire children to be excited about science and hopefully pursue a career in STEM in the future. The project targets 800 students from first to third grade from six different schools in rural areas.

Basketball
It was 2015 when basketball became one of my biggest passions. Now I am part of the Girls’ basketball team of Sofia High School of Mathematics. I also train basketball at Champion 2006 Club several times a week.
Art
Although I draw for pleasure, I do it really passionately. Sometimes I see, feel or imagine something remarkable and the only way I could express my thoughts about it is through Art.
Trekking
